Such a great reminder… Realizing that every skill has it's own mastery timeline will help me separate from some of my negative self-talk when I feel like I'm not a good dancer… it could just be that that skill, or a few skills, need more work, but overall my dance skills are good, as I probably didn't learn everything I know at the same time 🙂 (I didn't, lol)
I'm wondering if this is another theory that is in parallel to the experimental cycle in lesson 1.3.1. I mean they are both talking about how to implement something? But maybe the difference is that while you want to actually try something in the 1.3.1, here we want to enrich our knowledge about something. If so, then doesn't it missing here the physical knowledge? I mean it's fine if I know I need to roll my feet, but a physical knowledge is that I'm rolling my feet regardless. So maybe each block in 'levels of mastery journey' theory is consisting of the 'experimental cycle' to learn something?

I am loving the dialogue about not labelling your ability level as a dancer!

So many questions come up to me… haha
