I have a question about #4. Pulsing is more appropriate for contemporary, R&B, and funk music. You are not likely to see pros using a visible body pulse to smooth, lyrical, or Blues songs.
Why wouldn't pros pulse to Blues music? Is this a typo? Swing and Blues music comes from Black culture and dances, which includes the aesthetic of having a pulse. You talked about it in your Grooves workshop.
This comment specifically is referring to body pulse, as in the core/abdomen. When dancing WCS to Blues music, the pulse is more in the leg action while the upper body is more quiet.
