  • This is what I need right now! I am struggling with not anchoring and stretching (ie. not reaching the end zone) and just floating around in my triple which is causing me to step forward early. I am excited to make progress in this area, and hopefully that will make me a better partner when I can dance with another person again! 🙂

  • I wish I had read this years ago! (Or taken a private lesson with one of you when I was trying to fix this issue!) I kept being told that my steps were too big as a follow and that caused me to not have the space to anchor, but the cause and effect actually went the other way! Reading this, I just realized it was because I didn't understand how to regulate my leash or integrate my arm to my core, so I never 'felt' the end of the slot (because I didn't respond to the catch) so I felt like I had to take giant steps to get there!
