I think Myles and Tessa have brought in guests and referenced strategies (i.e Robert Royston) which has been great and I remember Jen doing the same with Brandi Guild.
I think it's important for newer students to think critically and not just do what everyone else is doing in the community since the path to developing one's dance isn't necessarily the same for everyone.
I personally would recommend Momentum and these Swing Literacy related programs since they have given me a great technical foundation to connect different dance ideas and workshops to and I also have a dance community external to Vancouver which has helped me enjoy going to events and connecting with people in a different way.
